Detective Comics #805 (6.5/10): Well, this is a pretty depressing, dark story. And it gets a bit complicated in this issue. I can take dark. I can take complex. But the two together are a bit taxing on this reader.

Lex Luthor: Man of Steel #2 (9/10): In my review of #1, I asked whether this was breaking any new ground? Well, it appears that it is, and this is Azzarello's best work of any of his major DC work in the past year. I mean, how can you not like a guy like Luthor who can stand up to the unions? :-)
